Aimee Garcia

 Aimee Garcia was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her mother, Eloisa, is from Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico and attended Northwestern University's dental college; her father, Hector, is from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Garcia started acting in commercials at seven years of age. She grew up in Oak Park, Illinois and went to Fenwick High School. She also attended acting classes at the Piven Theatre Workshop while in school. She was a part of local musicals and plays during her period at Northwestern University, where she triple majored in journalism, economics and French. After graduating, she stopped acting for a year and worked in finance as a mutual fund analyst in Brooklyn, New York. Not satisfied with her work moving to Los Angeles, California, around 2002 in order to pursue acting as her career.
