In 2008, Dee had her first major television part as Desi Biggins on the Canadian-Australian children's show The Saddle Club. Dee was a regular actor in the Australian-British TV series Dead Gorgeous as Christine in 2010. She was on the sitcom of Fox called I Hate My Teenage Daughter from 2011 to 2013. She also co-starred as Elizabeth "Beth" Kingston on the ABC Family drama series Chasing Life, from 2014 until 2015. Dee was a part of Jules Koja in the Syfy horror anthology series Channel Zero: No-End House, which aired in 2017. Dee was featured in the horror show Channel Zero: No-End House on the 22nd of August, 2016. The show premiered on the 20th of June in 2017. On October 4, 2017 Freeform renewed The Bold Type for another 10 episodes. The second season premiered on June 12, 2018[5and concluded on 7 August 2018.
