Alison Sudol (born December 23 1984) is an American actress, singer, songwriter and music video director. Her most well-known roles include A Fine Frenzy singer and Queenie Goldstein in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and its sequels The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) and The Secrets of Dumbledore (2222). Her music has been used in a myriad of TV shows as well as movies.Sudol was born in Seattle, Washington to dramatic arts teacher Sondra (Fraser) West-Moore and acting coach John Sudol. Her parents and her moved to Los Angeles after their divorce, when she was five. As a child, she was exposed to many different kinds of music such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and other swing musicians. Her most significant musical influences are Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash as well as Simon and Garfunkel. At 16 years old she completed high school. She declared herself to be "nerdy" and "quiet", and did not drink, smoke or engage in any other similar activities. She told an interviewer, "I was so nervous about entering college that way and was also super young. I thought I would spend two years trying to figure out what I would like to do with my music. And when I was 18 years old, I was too involved that I couldn't end my journey.
