Alyson Hannigan

 American actor Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. Her career began as a commercial actor when she was just four years old. When she was 11 she relocated to Hollywood and was quickly given an agent. Hannigan began her film career with supporting parts in comedy films such as Impure Thoughts (1986), and My Stepmother is an Alien (88) in which she received nominations for the Young Artist Award. Her film career began in 1999, playing Michelle Flaherty (the series' primary love character). She was in every one of the American Pie films from 1999 until 2012. Three times, she was nominated for Teen Choice Awards, and she was awarded the Young Hollywood Award. From 1989 until 1990, Hannigan was a part of the sitcom that ran for a short time, Free Spirit, where she was nominated for an Young Artist Award. After a handful of minor appearances in television films she was cast as Willow Rosenberg, a teenage witch in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural thriller series. She was in each episode from 1997 until 2003. The show was critically acclaimed for her performance in the show that earned her the Saturn Award as Best Supporting actor on TV as well as an Teen Choice Award. She was a part of How I Met Your Mother from 2005 until the year 2014. In recognition of this, she was awarded two People's Choice Awards.
