Chris Evans (actor)

 American actor Christopher Robert Evans was born on June 13, 1981. He began his career with the roles in TV shows such as Opposite Sex in the year 2000. After his appearance in numerous teen movies like 2001's Not Another Teen Movie (2001), Evans gained fame as the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch, in Fantastic Four (2005) as well as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans also appeared in films based on graphic novels and comics: TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Evans played Steve Rogers/Captain American in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Endgame (2018) has earned him a larger public. The character he played in the series made him one of the world's highest-paid actors. In addition to comic book characters, Evans has starred in the drama Gifted (2017) as well as the thriller Knives Out (2019), as well as the TV miniseries Defending Jacob (2020). He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the romance drama Before We Go, which he also was a co-producer and actor in. Evans' Broadway debut was in the revival of Kenneth Lonergan's play Lobby Hero.
