Fran Drescher

 Francine Joy Drescher was born on September 30th in 1957. She is an American comedian writer, activist, and trade unionist. Her character in the role of Fran Fine on The Nanny (1993-1999) is her most famous role. The sitcom was created by Drescher together with Peter Marc Jacobson, and also produced the show with Peter Marc Jacobson. Drescher's first screen appearance was on Saturday Night Fever in 1977. Then, she appeared in American Hot Wax (1978) as well as Wes Craven's horror film Stranger in Our House (1978). The actress gained fame in the 1980s for her work as an actress who played comedians in films like Gorp (1980) and The Hollywood Knights(80), Doctor Detroit (1983), This Is Spinal Tap (844) and UHF (1989).
