Isla Lang Fischer (/'aIl@/; was born on the 3rd of February, 1976) and is an Australian actor. Her birthplace was to Scottish parents in Oman. When she was six years old, young, she moved to Australia to work in television commercials. Fisher was initially known for her character Shannon Reed in the Australian soap show Home and Away (1994-97) and received two Logie Awards nominations. Then, she successfully transitioned from TV to Hollywood as she played Mary Jane in the 2002 live-action version of Scooby-Doo. Other notable roles include Swimming Pool (2001), I Love Huckabees (2006), London (2005) and Wedding Daze (2006). She was also in The Lookout, Hot Rod (both 2007 and (2008)), Burke & Hare (2010) and Visions (2015). Grimsby, keeping Up with the Joneses (2016), Tag (2018), The Beach Bum (both 2019 as well as Blithe Spirit (2021). The credits for her voice acting include appearances in animated films such as Horton Hears a Who and Rango (2011). (2008), Rango (2011) and Rise of the Guardians (2012).
