After her appearance in Baywatch 1995 without credit, Pressly was seen in Mercenary 1996 as Violet the vengeful and sexually attractive seductress in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction 1997 The third installment of the Poison Ivy series. After a brief appearance in the cult film for teens Can't Hardly Wait she made appearances on television as a guest in the film's short-lived Push, Mortal Kombat: Conquest and the interminable Push. Between September 26th, 1999 until April 15th 2001, on The WB, she played one of the leading characters in Jack & Jill. The show's headliner was Poor White Trash 2000, which was a movie about a con-artist gold-digger Sandy Lake. Pressly also was in three 2001 theatrical films aimed at teens. This gave her more attention despite having little success. Pressly was in Not Another Teen Movie as Priscilla. She was an athletic high school student, alongside Chris Evans. In the sexual comedy Tomcats she played the role of an 18-year-old girl as well as in Joe Dirt as an Southern love character. Cinema Crazed's Felix Vasquez described it as an absolute pleasure and stated that she is at her best in her role and is a delightful character. Then, she played an incredibly maniacal, motorbike-riding criminal in the action-thriller Torque (2004) with Ice Cube. The New Yorker published a review of this period of her career. The article stated that: "She is usually cast by virtue of her appearance and Southern attitude, and has played girl roles in a variety of forgettable teensploitation films."
