Julia Stiles

 Julia O'Hara Stiles, born March 28, 1981[1] is an American actress. Stiles was born and was raised in New York City. She began acting when she was 11 years old, as part of the city's La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. Stiles made her film debut in I Love You. I Love You Not (1996). The actress later got a major role in Wicked (1998) which was in which she received the Karlovy Vary Film Festival Award for Best Actress. She rose to prominence with the lead roles in teen movies like 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Down to You (2000), and Save the Last Dance (2001). Her awards include an NBR Award, a CFCA Award, the Gold Derby Award, a Teen Choice Award and two MTV Movie Awards, as well as Satellite Award, Gotham Award, Golden Globe Award, and Emmy Award nominations.Stiles transitioned to adult roles with films like The Business of Strangers (2001), Mona Lisa Smile (2003), and The Omen (2006), and gained acclaim all over the world with her portrayal as Nicky Parsons in the Bourne franchise (2002-2016). Other notable films include Hamlet (both 2000), O(2001), A Guy Thing (2002) and Carolina (2003). She also starred in The Prince & Me (2004), Edmond (both 2005), The Cry of the Owl (2009) and Silver Linings Playbook (2012). She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress as well as the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In 2012 and 2013, she played the main character on the web-based series Blue in which she was awarded two IAWTV Awards for Best Actress. She starred in the Sky Atlantic series Riviera as Georgina Ryland from 2017 until 2020. She is currently a star in The Lake, an Amazon series (2022-2022).
