Hinkle was Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, opposite Jean Stapleton playing the Nurse at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC from January 25 to March 13, 1994 at the Lansburgh Theatre in Washington DC. 4 On Broadway, she played Kuroko and was the understudy of Miranda in The Tempest from November 1 to December 31, 1995 at the Broadhurst Theatre. From July 14 until August 10 in 1996, she was Sandra Markowitz's understudy at Criterion Center Stage Right. Between December 3rd, 1998 to March 21, 1999, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, she also was Chrysothemis as Electra. [5] Hinkle began her television career with the soap opera Another World. Hinkle also played Judy Brooks on ABC's drama series Once and Again from 1999 until 2002. [1] Hinkle was a regular on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer as well as Angus T. Jones and Ashton Kutcher later playing Judith, Alan's neurotic ex. Although she was a major cast member Hinkle was not a regular on the show following the eighth season of the show. The actress was removed quietly from the show. Her last appearances as an actor were in the ninth season. She appeared in only one episode during the final three seasons, but she was still listed as a regular. This could have been due to commitments to her new role as Samantha Bowers in the NBC drama series Deception featuring Tate Donovan, Victor Garber and Katherine LaNasa.
