Morgan was born on the 10th of November 1968 in Brooklyn, and lived in Brooklyn's Marlboro Houses and Tompkins Houses in its Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Morgan is the second child of five children (33) of Alicia Warden (a homemaker) and Jimmy Morgan (1, a musician). Morgan was bullied as a youngster and attended DeWitt-Clinton high school. When he was 17 years old, Morgan learned that his father had contracted HIV by consuming hypodermic needles. Also, he was a senior in high school. Morgan married Sabina the following year and was kicked out of high school four credits shy of graduation. Morgan was living on welfare and selling crack cocaine, but with no results [8]. However, he was making money on the streets, performing comedy after his friend was killed. He told the news in 2009: "He would say to me, 'Yo, Tracy Man you ought to be doing comedy.' The next day, he was murdered. That was my Vietnam. I had my survival guilt when I started to achieve success. The reason I succeeded while others did not. "Morgan embarked on an acting career in stand-up comedy, with enough success that the comedian "finally moved into a comfortable neighborhood in [The Bronx neighborhood ofthe city of Riverdale after a deteriorating apartment that was located near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx."
