Christina Ricci

 Christina Ricci (/'ri:tSi/ REE-chee; born February 12, 1980) is an American actress. Ricci is known for her unusual roles with a dark edge. She is mostly involved in independent films, but she has also appeared in a variety of film and television hits at the box office. Her nominations included two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. Her film debut was in Mermaids (1990) which was then her breakout performance in Wednesday Addams' The Addams Family (1991) and the sequel Addams Family Values (1993). Her subsequent roles in Casper and Now and Then, both 1995, established her as an teen idol. She began her career as an adult actor at the age of 17 with The Ice Storm (1997) and was later cast in a variety of independent films, including Monster (1998), The Opposite of Sex (2000) and Pecker (1998). She was also in Sleepy Hollow (1999), 200 Cigarettes (99), Penelope (2006) and Speed Racer (2008). In addition, Ricci was a part of the final season, Ally McBeal(2002) and also made a guest on Grey's Anatomy (2006). The actress also appeared in the ABC series Pan Am (2011) and produced and starred as Z: The Beginning of Everything (2017). Her first role was with Showtime's critically acclaimed show Yellowjackets in 2021. In 2022, she appeared in the comedy-horror series Wednesday.
