Elizabeth Hurley

 Hurley briefly appeared in 1988 as a girl in "Last Seen Wearing", an episode on the show detective Inspector Morse. Part of the episode was shot at Reading Blue Coat [citation neededThe Reading Blue Coat [citation needed] Sonning in Berkshire. It is believed that this was been her first appearance on television. In the same year she also appeared as Rosie Japhet in an episode of Rumpole of the Bailey (Rumpole and the Barrow Boy). In the latter half of 1988, Hurley portrayed the title character in a series of television drama, Christabel. Following her appearance on John Cleese’s The Human Face (2001) she hosted the first season of Project Catwalk, a British reality television show, on Sky 1 in 2006. Marcelle D'ArgySmith, a former editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, criticised Hurley as a presenter commenting that Hurley did not have any experience in fashion. She wore a gown and attended premieres. Dylan Jones, GQ's fashion editor, defended Hurley as someone who was "immersed in the world of fashion and style as an a-lister." "[citation needed] She was dropped after one series because her bosses believed she was wooden.In 2011 Hurley recorded a guest lead role in the series pilot of the NBC show Wonder Woman as the villain Veronica Cale. The network decided to not continue the series. Hurley was announced in July 2011 to be a part of Gossip Girl's fifth season, which will be a multi-episode run. Her character, Diana Payne, was described by the series' executive producers as "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with", whose "entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters--including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself
