Allison Raskin

 Allison Beth Raskin was born on June 20 1989. She is an American writer, comedian director, comedian, and YouTuber. Before joining BuzzFeed Video as a writer she left with her partner Gaby Dunn in the year 2015 to join the comedy channel "Just Between Us". Raskin has also published work for Elle, NBC News Think and Splinter News. She as well as Dunn released a novel together called I Hate Everyone But You on the 5th of September 2017. She earned an undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. She started an Pepperdine University clinical psychology program in 2020, with a focus on marriage and Family Therapy. Raskin has been candid about her struggles with mental health. When she was 4, she was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She was afflicted with depression and anxiety. The doctor prescribed her medication until 21 years old and then had a break of seven years which included therapy. She stopped taking medications at the age of 28 and was greeted with backlash for weight increase.
