Kay who was a lover of professional wrestling since her childhood, started training alongside Mathew Pritchew as well as Bill Martel at Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance in Detroit, Michigan in July 2008. Six months after, Kay made her debut in the ring against Shavonne Norrrell on the 28th of December. [2][6Kay fought Shavonne Norrell for six months. Kay was a slugger against Norrell for six months, which culminated in an ongoing feud that lasted for throughout 2009. Kay later began competing against male wrestlers. Kay was then invited to participate in the event to determine who would be the next champion. In the semi-finals, she lost to Scotty Primo, who was the eventual winner. Kay attempted to take the title numerous times before the end of BCWA in mid-2011.
