Steven Tyler

Steven Victor Tallarico, born on the 26th of March 1948 is an American musician most well-known for his role as the lead singer in Aerosmith, a Boston-based rock group. Also, he plays harmonica and piano. His strong vocal range and high volume of voice makes Steven Tyler the "Demon of Screamin'". Acrobatics on stage are an important aspect of his professional career. Tyler is well-known for his vibrant, androgynous (sometimes androgynous) costumes when performing. The signature scarves he wears hang from the microphone stand. Tyler gained fame in the 1970s when he was the lead singer of Aerosmith. The band released albums of hard rock like Toys in the Attic, Rocks and a variety of hit singles, including "Dream on", Sweet Emotion, and "Walk This Way." Tyler was recovering from drugs and alcohol by the 1970s. The popularity of the band declined as the years progressed. Tyler completed his rehabilitation in the year 1986. Aerosmith rose again to the limelight after Tyler as well as Joe Perry joined Run-DMC to remake "Walk This Way," that was an instant Top 5 hit. Aerosmith made a comeback in 1986, releasing the album that was multi-platinum Permanent Vacation and Pump, Get a Grip. The album was the source of thirteen Top 40 singles, and Aerosmith won numerous awards. Aerosmith toured on their longest-running concert tour and promoting their singles with music videos that were conceptual and also appeared on film, television, as well as video games. Tyler has been on his own since the early 1980s. He has also made appearances as a guest alongside Alice Cooper, Motley Crue and Santana and has also written an autobiography as well as film and television work. After being injured during an event in 2009, tensions grew between him and his Aerosmith groupmates. Tyler relapsed of prescription drugs in 2009 [4] and was a contestant on American Idol in 2009. In the over 50 years with Aerosmith, Tyler continues to record and perform with Aerosmith. Tyler's first solo album "We're All Somebody from Somewhere", was released in the year 2016. It included the country-rock track "Love is Your Name". Tyler performed in support of the album with the "Out on the Limb Tour". Tyler is still performing as a solo artist as well as with Aerosmith and with support from the Loving Mary Band.
