Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She was featured on several television shows in the late 1980s, such as Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She was also a part of made-for-television films like The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity, and Day by Day, which she starred alongside Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. From 1992 to 1997, her first starring TV role was in the role of Alison Parker in Melrose Place. In 1995, she was in a made-for-television movie Beauty's Revenge which was also advertised on DVD and CD version as "Midwest Obsession". From 1997 until 2000, she was the character Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne Smith auditioned initially for the role that played the title in the show. It was eventually given to Calista Lockhart. Her replacement was Ally McBeal in season 4 in 2000. However she has returned to the show to make guest appearances. She later said that she left the show partly due to pressure to be thin. US Weekly reported that she began to eat too much and train too often, and had weakened her immune system. "The amount of time I spent thinking about food and feeling upset over my body was insane. "From 2001 to 2009, she was a character on the show Cheryl on the show According to Jim. Her pregnancy, which was real in 2007, was initially hidden and then included in the plot of the show. She was signed on to play Alan Harper's girlfriend Lyndsey McElroy in season seven, Two and a Half Men, on February 18 in 2010. She was featured in 52 episodes of season seven through twelve.
