McGrath also appeared in the fourth episode of Dates on Channel 4 as a young lesbian on the dating scene with Gemma Chan. McGrath was a part of Gemma Chan in Episode 4 of Channel 4's Dates in June 2013. In November 2014, McGrath starred alongside Gemma Chan in a Hozier music video. In the year 2016, McGrath was confirmed to be the voice of Lena Luthor, a recurring character on Supergirl. She made her debut in the season two premiere episode titled "The Adventures of Supergirl" and was made a series regular in March of 2017 and remained in this role until the show's conclusion in 2021. [21][22] McGrath starred as Elsa, a fictional character in Guy Ritchie's fantasy film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The film was released in May 2017. Secret Bridesmaids' Business is a Seven Network series about how the wedding of a bride can be fatal when one of her bridesmaids invites a stranger to their home to share their life. McGrath played Saskia bisexual lawyer who's described as a smart, loyal woman who is holding an unspoken secret.In 2020, McGrath voice narrated the book Islands of Mercy by Rose Tremain.
