The site grew rapidly and eventually surpassed 1 billion users in 2012. Zuckerberg took the company public by acquiring majority stakes in the month of May. He became the most successful self-made billionaire in the world, at just age 23. In 2007 Zuckerberg became the most self-made billionaire in the world , at just age 23. [3][4][55 Zuckerberg was ranked 10th on the Forbes list of The World's Most Powerful People in December 2016. He was ranked 11th on the Forbes 400 list with wealth of $57.7billion in 2022. This is a drop from his rank of third most prosperous American with a net worth of $134.5billion in 2021. As per Forbes Real Time Billionaires, Zuckerberg was the 26th richest person on the planet as of December 20th in 2022. His net worth was $42.4 million. Seven years ago the film The Social Network about Zuckerberg's life was released. The film focuses on Zuckerberg's rise to prominence in the field of technology. Zuckerberg was involved in a variety of lawsuits involving the creation and the ownership rights of Facebook. He was the co-founder of FWD.us which is a pro-immigration lobbying group in 2013. Zuckerberg presented testimony before Congress on April 10 11 and 10 April 2018, regarding the use by Facebook of personal information in relation to the Cambridge Analytica data breach.
