 Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman (born on September 1st, 1996) is an American actor and singer. Her achievements include an Golden Globe Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine listed Zendaya as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in its annual list for 2022. Zendaya was born and was raised in Oakland, California. She began her career as a young model, then later as a backup dancer. In 2010 she made her television debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. She also played in K.C. as the title character. for the channel. Her role was the character undercover (2015-2018). Her first feature film appearance was in 2017 with the film based on her superhero, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and she was later in the sequels. Zendaya's portrayal of Rue Bennett, a struggling addict in the HBO series for teens Euphoria (2019-present) made her the youngest recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her film credits include the musical The Greatest Showman (2017) as well as the romantic drama Malcolm & Marie (2021), and the science fiction epic Dune (2021)In addition to her acting career, Zendaya has also made a move into the world of music. In 2011, she dropped two singles "Swag It Out" and "Watch Me", the latter of which was a collaboration with Bella Thorne. In 2012, she signed with Hollywood Records. The album, titled "Eponymous," (2013) was released to moderate success. The album's lead single album, "Replay", reached 40 on the U.S. charts. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Zendaya's greatest commercial success as an artist came with "Rewrite The Stars" the song that was an Zac Efron-Zack and Zac.
