Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970, and died on April 9, 2021. He was popularly known by the name DMX (shorthand for "Dark Man X") is an actor and rapper hailing from the United America. His debut album called It's Hot and Dark, was released in 1998 to great critical and commercial great success. It sold over 251,000 copies within the first week. [5][6] In 1999, DMX released... and then There Was X. The album featured the smash hit track "Party up (Up in Here). The singles he released, "Where the Hood At?" and "X Gon Give It To You" were released in 2003. Commercially and his singles from 2003 "Where the Hood is at?" and "X Gon Give it to Ya" were also extremely popular. The singer was the first to ever release an album that debuted with a chart position of No.1 in the Billboard 200 charts five times in succession. The worldwide sales of DMX exceeded 74 million records. He was a part of the reality television series DMX: Soul of a Man. It was primarily broadcast on the BET cable television network. He wrote an autobiography of his personal memoirs, E.A.R.L. in 2003. : The Autobiography of DMX. DMX died in April 2021 of an induced heart attack caused by cocaine.
