Reese Witherspoon

 Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon (born March 22nd, 1976) is an American actress. She has been the recipient of numerous awards such as an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and the Primetime Emmy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards, she has consistently ranked among the world's highest-paid actresses. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2006 and 2015, and Forbes included her in the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in the years 2019 and 2021. In 2021, Forbes named her the world's most successful actress, with an estimated net worth of $400 million.Witherspoon began her acting career when she was a teenager, and made her debut on screen in The Man in the Moon (1991). In 1999, she appeared as a supporting actress in Cruel Intentions as well as in the role of Tracy Flick in Election. Her fame grew with her playing Elle Woods in the comedy Legally Blonde (2001) and its sequel in 2003, and for her role in the romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama (2002). In 2005, she earned notoriety and the Academy Award for Best Actress for portraying June Carter Cash in the musical biopic Walk the Line.Following an unfavorable career in which her only box office success was the romantic comedy Water for Elephants (2011), Witherspoon made a comeback by starring and producing Cheryl Strayed in the drama Wild (2014) and resulted in her being nominated for a second time for Best Actress at the Academy Awards. Since then, she has been working primarily in television, producing and starring in a variety of female-led literary adaptations produced by the banner of her company Hello Sunshine. These include Big Little Lies, an HBO drama series (2017-2019), The Morning Show, an Apple TV+ drama series (2019-present) as well as the Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere (2020). In the beginning she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series.
