Lea T

 Lea T was first discovered by model agent Piero Piazzi who signed her at age 17 prior to her transition. Riccardo Tisci, an experienced senior Givenchy designer, discovered her and asked her to assist him. Then she was chosen as the model of Givenchy in the year 2010. Her debut runway show was held in the name of Alexandre Herchcovitch during Sao Paulo Fashion Week in January 2011. T was the subject of ads for Givenchy and Philipp Plein. She has also been included in editorials in Vogue Paris and Numero as along with Interview and Love. In 2011, she was the cover model of two editions of the Spring/Summer 2011 issue of Love the magazine, one as a single model, as well as one featuring her with Kate Moss. T has also appeared on the covers of international editions of Elle, Marie Claire, Grazia and Glamour In 2013, she participated in the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars on Rai Uno entitled Ballando con le Stelle In February 2015, Lea T was chosen by Forbes magazine one of the 12 women who have changed Italian fashion, alongside names like Miuccia Prada, Anna Dello Russo and Franca Sozzani. In 2014, she was chosen as the model for the American hair care brand Redken and became the first transgender woman to be the face of a major cosmetics brand.Lea T became the first transgender woman ever to take part in the opening ceremony of an Olympics in the year she led the Brazilian team to the stadium on her bicycle at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Rio Olympics. She led an all-female team of 465 that competed in 29 sports. She was also the modern pentathlete Yane Marques carrying the Auriverde flag into the stadium.
