Muggsy Bogues

 Tyrone Curtis "Muggsy" Bogues (born on January 9 1965) is a famous American former basketball player. The shortest player to ever participate in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with a height of 5 feet 3 in (1.60 m) Bogues played point guard for four teams during his 14-season playing career within the NBA. Although he is best known for his time playing with the Charlotte Hornets, he also played for the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors as well as the Toronto Raptors. Bogues finished with the top seven spots in assists for six consecutive seasons (1989-1995), and in the top ten of steals in three of the seasons. He was a career NBA double-doubler who scored 146. 1 Following his NBA career, he served as the head coach for the now-defunct Charlotte Sting of the WNBA.
