Peter Brian Hegseth was born on June 6th in 1980. He is an American TV host, author and an officer of the Army National Guard. He was also the director of two political advocacy organizations Vets For Freedom (formerly Concerned Veterans for America). The Koch brothers have financed the conservative group of advocacy The Koch Brothers. The group is a proponent for a greater privatization of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Hegseth was initially thought to be the chief of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs under the Trump administration. However, David Shulkin was elected in January 2017. He was a prominent fan of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and served as occasionally a consultant to him during his presidency. As per reports, he convinced Trump that three American soldiers who were convicted or charged with violations of the law in relation with the killing of noncombatants in Iraq were to be granted pardons. Hegseth was an Guantanamo bay commander during his military service . He also was a defender of the treatment of prisoners in prison.
